The historical context of the Anshei Knesset Hagdolah and the halachot that they instituted have forrmed the basic structure of the Judaism that we recognise and know today. This session will offer an attempt at understanding the power of rabbinic tradition and the authority of the rabbis in shaping Judaism and Jewish life.
